What is Omega 3-6-9? It is an optimum-ratio blend of three beneficial fatty acids Omega 3, Omega 6, Omega 9 . This balanced fatty acid fomulation combines the ideal ratio of naturally therapeutic oils extracted from Borage, cold water fish and flax seed. Omega 3 and Omega 6 are essential fatty acids and Omega 9 acts as nutritional support for the function of the essential fatty acids. The primary food sources of Omega 3 oils (other than above) are sardines, herring, mackeral, bluefish and salmon. Omega 6 is found in evening primrose oil and black current oil. Borage oil is considered the most highly utilized and readily absorbed source of Omega 6.
